Streamako

Streamako receives live video from your camera, processes the outgoing stream, handles temporary connection interruptions, and prepares private recordings. The service is being developed for separate user accounts, with each user controlling their own streams and integrations.

Camera connection recoveryHandles supported camera reconnections and can show an interruption screen while the camera is offline. Lost source footage cannot be reconstructed.
Private recordingsFinal recordings are transferred to private Cloudflare R2 storage. Downloads require account authorization and use temporary links.
YouTube integration in developmentThe new account-based connection will let each user authorize their own YouTube channel and manage broadcasts from Streamako. It is not yet available in the deployed dashboard.

Google and YouTube API usage

The YouTube integration is being built using Google OAuth 2.0 and YouTube API Services. Its intended purpose is to identify the channel you authorize and create, bind, monitor, start, and complete the broadcasts you request. It does not require your Google password. Connecting YouTube is separate from creating a Streamako account.

The new Google application's publishing status is In production to avoid the special seven-day refresh-token expiry of Testing mode. Streamako itself remains a limited DEV preview, and the account-based OAuth flow is not yet deployed or accepted end to end. Publishing status is not Google verification. These public pages do not enable that integration or provide an OAuth callback.

Data handling

Account settings and the recording ownership catalog are held in the service database; media is processed on media servers and final files are kept in private object storage. Access to another user's recordings is not granted by knowing a filename. See the Privacy Policy for data handling, service providers, and deletion requests.

Current access

Streamako is a limited development preview, not a generally available paid service. The dashboard is currently available only on the operator's local network. These information pages are public; they do not expose the dashboard, camera credentials, recordings, or administration tools. No logo is required to use this preview.

Streamako is an independent service and is not endorsed by Google or YouTube. Use involving YouTube is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
